About Alison

Read by millions every week, and frequently on TV and Radio, home guru Alison Cork has built up a formidable reputation as a trusted homes and interiors expert, with an unfailing eye for quality and value.

With an ever growing portfolio encompassing writing and broadcasting, in 2012 Alison branched out into product design, collaborating with online furniture retailer www.made.com to produce the bestselling Wolseley and Lansdowne Collections.

In 2013, Alison launched her own online interiors collection at www.alisonathome.com featuring beautiful, stylish homeware at accessible prices. Alison’s signature style is classic design with a twist, blending elegant shapes with tactile materials and rich use of colour.

There is a hint of tradition and heritage at the heart of all Alison’s work, but her contemporary treatment allows it to sit successfully in the modern home. ‘Affordable Elegance’ is her byword.

Aside from product design, Alison writes weekly interiors columns for several national newspapers including The Daily Telegraph, Times, Guardian, Observer, Independent and London’s Evening Standard, with a weekly readership totalling well over 12 million. Her TV presenting credits include Cowboy Builders (CH 5), Secret Removers (C4), Home In The Country (ITV), Don’t Move Improve (ITV) and Get The Look For Less (ITV).

In 2014, Alison launched her hugely successful homeware brand on home shopping channel QVC, where she continues to bring stylish and affordable furniture and accessories to the viewing public.

In 2017 she launched an exciting collaboration with online bathroom company www.victorianplumbing.co.uk

Her group of companies operates out of offices near her home in London’s Belgravia. Despite her ever expanding empire, at the heart of everything she does remains the simple and strongly held belief – “Everyone deserves a beautiful home”
